I would like those smarter than I to make use of the currently unused "ABS" LED and make it a Low Voltage Warning LED. If your car battery is always requiring a boost, your lights flicker, or your car won’t start in the cold, your brake light may be due to a low voltage code. Otherwise, determining if the Brake Warning Light is due to a low voltage problem is tricky and requires specialized electrical diagnostic tools and a code reader.
